Michael Feinfeld
Michael J. Feinfeld joins Lassar & Cowhey LLP as a Senior Associate in the Firm's New York City office. For over nine years, Mr. Feinfeld has concentrated his practice of law on estate planning and estate and trust administration for busy New Yorkers and their families at several boutique law firms in and around New York City. Mr. Feinfeld draws from a broad base of experience helping clients of all income levels with their estate planning and estate administration matters, from clients with small estates to high net worth clients. In addition, Mr. Feinfeld frequently administers decedents' estates and trusts before the Surrogates' Courts throughout New York City, Westchester and Long Island. He has extensive experience planning, drafting and administering wills and trusts, including revocable living trusts, life insurance trusts, GRATs, QPRTs, Crummey trusts, credit shelter trusts and QTIP Trusts to meet his clients' succession and tax planning needs.

Mr. Feinfeld has given presentations and webinars on various aspects of estate planning, estate administration and tax. He is also a co-editor and update author of the 2014-2015 and 2015-2016 Editions of the Thomson Reuters’ estate planning treatise, Planning an Estate: A Guidebook of Principles and Techniques with Frederick M. Sembler, Esq., and he recently finished editing the 2016-2017 edition of the treatise due out this winter.
